Does your student love to create digital art but want to learn more of the fundamentals of art? In this class we will dive into the use of line and pattern as the basic building block of all that we do in art! Join me for 6 weeks as we look at the importance of line and pattern in all that we do! Welcome to Drawing School...with a digital twist! I will use Procreate to work through basic principles of art, you may use any digital drawing program that you are comfortable with. **This class assumes an understanding of the drawing app chosen by the student. I will not be teaching the apps in this class, rather USING the apps to explore art concepts through the various mediums and methods they provide.** Line is one of the most basic elements of art that sets the foundation for art making. Teaching students how to start with simple lines and turn them into shapes and then eventually into advanced compositions is the first step in any art education. A subject that they may have thought to be too difficult to draw, such as a clipper ship, all of a sudden becomes doable. What an exciting experience as your students learn to "see" the world in a whole new way! We will explore great artists to see how they utilized line and pattern to enhance their works. A simple line can elicit excitement, sadness, tranquility and strength. Throughout the class we will explore what emotional response compositions and lines offer to the viewer of each piece of artwork. **Again, this class assumes an understanding of the chosen digital srawing app! Cancellation Policy

Full refund if you withdraw from a class within 24 hours of payment, including the initial sign-up. This includes 1-on-1 classes, group classes, and weekly enrollment in group classes. You can also receive a refund for your most recent payment if you withdraw within 24 hours of purchase before the first meeting of the payment period. However, you are no longer eligible for a full refund once your first class meeting begins. Stopping your subscription after class begins or after the 24 hour period will stop any future charges, but will not result in a refund of your most recent payment.
