"Kawaii" is a Japanese word that means cute, tiny or loveable. In the doodle lab we will: Work on a new doodle each week (students are welcome to request what we draw next!) Have directed drawing that takes the class through shape building exercises to learn how to sketch and draw by breaking down complex subjects into simple shapes. Shading and highlighting to bring our characters to life. Each week students will be encouraged to create a background environment for each character we develop. (Teaching storytelling and illustration) Students are welcome to join with whatever medium they are comfortable with - however I will not be teaching drawing apps (such as Procreate or Ibis), nor traditional mediums in this class. I will assume a comfort level of each student with their chosen artistic tools. I will be drawing in the Procreate app on the iPad.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund if you withdraw from a class within 24 hours of payment, including the initial sign-up. This includes 1-on-1 classes, group classes, and weekly enrollment in group classes. You can also receive a refund for your most recent payment if you withdraw within 24 hours of purchase before the first meeting of the payment period. However, you are no longer eligible for a full refund once your first class meeting begins. Stopping your subscription after class begins or after the 24 hour period will stop any future charges, but will not result in a refund of your most recent payment.
